Former Eagle Dan Curts Wins For Iowa State

Former Ellsworth Eagle Dan Curts won the 1000 Meter Race for the Iowa State Cyclones for the 2nd consecutive week on Friday, January 20th, finishing with a time of 2:26.84

This fall as a member of the Cross Country Team, Curts placed seventh (18:15) at the Hawkeye Invitational as Iowa State’s No. 3 finisher. In the Big 12 Championship he placed 18^th (26:05) as ISU’s No. 6 runner at the conference meet and finished 46^th (31:16) at the NCAA Midwest Regional. He saved his best performance of the season for the NCAA Championship, where he placed 99^th (30:51.5) as Iowa State’s third finisher.
