Congratulations to former Ellsworth Eagle Ellie Clarke and former MDI Trojan Isaac Weaver, who were named to the All-New England NEISDA Swim Team.

Weaver, a 1st year student at Maine Maritime Academy had a great showing at the  2020 New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Championship at the University of Rhode Island. He  placed fifth in the 50 yard breaststroke with a time of 27.54, setting a new school record in the event. As part of the relay team he set a new school record and placed sixth in the 400 Yard Medley with a time of 3:42.87. Again as part of the relay team he finished sixth in the 200 Yard Medley, setting a new school record, with a time of 1:41.75. He also finished seventh in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:01.95 to set a new school record.

Clarke,  is a 1st year student at Husson University .Swimming in the 2020 New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Championship at the University of Rhode Island , Clarke placed sixth in the 50 Back (28.70) to become the first rookie in program history to earn 2 All-New England honors in a single NEISDA Championship Meet and just the second student-athlete in Husson University's Women's Swim and Dive history to accomplish this feat.  On Saturday, February 15th she finished 5th in the 100 Back (1:01.48) to become the first rookie in program history to All-New England honors. Her performance added 24 points to Husson's overall point total. Clarke also wiped out the program's NEISDA Championship meet record for the most points scored by a first-year student-athlete with 62 points.
