Flat Miss Paige Heads Home with Her Students for the Summer
Paige Osgood just finished her 7th year teaching 2nd grade at the Surry Elementary School, a year that was cut short by COVID-19 and the birth of her 3rd child Bryce Benjamin. Miss Paige as she is known to her rising 3rd graders has decided to send a Flat Miss Paige home to the 19 members of her class.
The children are asked to bring Flat Miss Paige on adventures, and take photos and send them to Paige throughout the summer. Then Paige will put together a slideshow to share with the class!
The adventure board offers certain suggestions for activities like
- Read a book together
- Chill time with the family
- Going for a walk
- Going for a bike ride
- Doing chores together
- Building an obstacle course
- Building a blanket fort
- Make a snack
- Draw a hopscotch game and more!
Paige is an Ellsworth High School alumni, graduating in 2008. She went to the University of Maine Farmington before embarking on her teaching career.
