Flashback Friday – Tarp On a Roof

If you're a High School Basketball fan and frequented the old Bangor Auditorium, this will take you back with a little trip down memory lane... Tarp on the roof!

Prior to tonight's MDI-Ellsworth Boy's Basketball game leaks developed in the skylight at Katsiaficas Gymnasium. With over a foot of snow on the skylights, and a warm gym, that meant the water from the snow needed to find an outlet. Unfortunately it started to drip on the floor.

A giant tarp, so big in fact it could double to cover the infield during the baseball/softball season was purchased and installed to catch the drips!

The JV game was delayed, and it looks like the Varsity game will be starting at a minimum 30-45 minutes late.
