First Hoop Nets MDI and Ellsworth High School a Combined $6100

At the last regular season home game, The First presented MDI and Ellsworth High School a check, for the First Hoop Program run at the schools.

The First Hoop Program allows a lucky fan to take a free throw at halftime of every home game. Depending upon certain criteria, each school participating in the First Hoop Program may earn up to $150 per game. The lucky fan also walks away with a First National water bottle regardless if they make the free throw or not.

The Ellsworth fans were better free throw shooters this year than the MDI fans, as Ellsworth's check was slightly larger!

Ellsworth's check was $3200

And MDI's check was for $2900

This money goes to the Athletic Department to help with unbudgeted expenses.

So practice those free throws for next year and you too could be a winner of The First Hoop Program and earn your school $150 for a made free throw!
