Fire at Otis General Store

Multiple crews were fighting a fire at the Otis General Store located at 171 Otis Road in Otis on Wednesday shortly after noon.

The Town of Mariahville placed a mutual aid call to the City of Ellsworth. From there crews from Trenton, Lamoine, Hancock, and Bar Harbor responded to the fire.

In addition, Dedham Fire was on standby, and crews from Franklin, Sorrento and Sullivan were covering from their own stations in the event there were additional calls for fire response in the area.
