F.T. Brown Hardware in Northeast Harbor Sponsoring 2nd Annual Gingerbread House Contest

Attention all bakers! It's time to sign up for F.T. Brown Hardware's 2nd Annual Gingerbread House Contest which will be held on Saturday, December 7th.

All participants need to pre-register, either by stopping into F.T. Brown's, located at 106 Main Street in Northeast Harbor or by calling them, at (207) 276-3329 during business hours.  There is a $20.00 donation per individual or family (If multiple family members are competing on 1 team). All donations will go to the MDI Campfire Coalition Fuel Assistance Program.

Gingerbread Houses may be made of any type of food or edible material.

There will be 2 groups; 1 for Adults and 1 for Children.

There will 2 categories for each group:

• Most "Whosical" (creative)
• Most Grand

The judging and announcement of the winners will take place between 5:30 and 6 p.m.

You may drop off all Gingerbread House entries on Saturday Morning starting at 8:30 morning and should be there no later than 3 p.m.
