Because of the expected poor travel conditions tonight in Washington County, the scheduled game on Friday night, January 14th between the Ellsworth Boys and Washington Academy Raiders has been postponed until Saturday, January 15th.

The games will now take place as follows on Saturday, the 15th

  • 1 p.m. JV2 Boys
  • 2:30 p.m. JV Boys
  • 4 p.m Varsity Boys

Admission will be charged for all 3 games $4.00 for adults and $2.00 for students and seniors. The hope is that the games will be live-streamed on the Ellsworth High School You Tube Channel.

WDEA is scheduled to broadcast the Houlton Boys at MDI game at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 15th. As long as that game is going to be played, we will be at Bernard Parady Gymnasium broadcasting that game on WDEA AM 1370, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device.

In the event that the Houlton-MDI Boys game does not take place, we will pivot and broadcast the Ellsworth-Washington Academy game at 4 p.m. Stay tuned!
