Ellsworth Boys Basketball Team Fights Hard But Falls To Hermon

The Ellsworth Boy's Basketball Team dug themselves a huge hole, trailing 14-1 at the end of the 1st Quarter, before tying the game at 37-37 at the end of the 3rd Quarter, before ultimately falling to the Hermon Hawks 48-44 in Hermon on Saturday, December 20th.

Hermon led 28-21 at the end of the 1st Half.

Ellsworth was led by Dawson Curtis with 13 points and a pair of 3-pointers. Jackson Barry had 7 points. Evan Haskell and Bryce Hart each had a 3-pointer. The Eagles were 12-16 from the free throw line.

Hermon was led by Brody Hurd and Mason Kinney who each had 10 points. Carter Wiggin, Mason Kinney and Tyler Corson each had a 3-pointer. The Hawks were 9-16 from the free throw line.

Ellsworth is now 4-2 and will play at Presque Isle on Tuesday, December 23rd at 5:30 p.m.

Hermon is now 4-1. They will play at Old Town on Tuesday, December 23rd at 7 p.m.
