Ellsworth Volleyball Wins 1st Match

The Ellsworth Volleyball Team won their 1st match of the season, defeating the Sumner Tigers 3-0 at Katsiaficas Gymnasium at Ellsworth High School on Monday, September 17th. The individual game scores were 25-18, 25-19 and 25-23.

Ellsworth stat leaders included

• Sophia Petros 20 service points, 10 aces, 5 digs
• Olivia Dyer 23 assists

Ellsworth, now 1-3 will have a rematch with Washington Academy, in East Machias on Thursday, September 20th at 5:30PM

Sumner, 1-7 plays at Machias on TWednesday, September 19th at 5:30PM
