Ellsworth Volleyball Beats Hampden Academy in Straight Sets 3-0

The Ellsworth High School Volleyball Team traveled up to Hampden Academy, returning home with a straight set 3-0 win on Tuesday, September 16th. The individual set scores were 28-26, 25-11, 25-23.

Individual Ellsworth stand outs included
  • Sophie Harmon: 5 aces, 12 assists, 4 digs
  • Austyn Atherton: 4 aces, 10 kills, 3 digs
  • Sophie Beal: 2 aces, 10 kills, 1 assist, 7 digs, 1 block
  • Caitlin Jenkins: 10 aces, 1 kill, 3 blocks
Ellsworth is now 4-2. They will host the Narraguagus Knights on Monday, September 22nd at 5 p.m.
Hampden Academy is 1-3. They will host Cony on Friday, September 26th at 5:30 p.m.

The Ellsworth JV team beat Hampden Academy 2-1. The set scores were 25-23, 20-25, 15-4.
