Ellsworth Volleyball Falls to Messalonskee in Scrimmage

The Ellsworth Eagles fell to the Messalonskee Eagles on Monday, August 21st in a preseason scrimmage. The EIlsworth Eagles lost all 4 sets by the scores of 25-9, 25-16, 25-17 and 25-22. The teams played an extra set by coaches agreement.

New Varsity Coach John Dyer sent along these stats for Ellsworth.

• Olivia Harmon with 5 assists, 11 service points including 3 aces, and 1 kill.
• Shanteena Griffiths: 4 kills and 1 ace.
• Charly Weaver: 7 service points and 3 aces.
• Olivia Snow had 3 service points and 2 aces.

The Eagles travel to Bucksport for their next scrimmage  on Wednesday, August 23rd at 4:30 p.m.

Congratulations to new JV1 Coach, and former Ellsworth Eagle player Alli Dorr who . picked up her first victory as her JV1 team swept Messalonskee.
