Ellsworth Volleyball Beats Brewer 3-2 on Senior Night

The Ellsworth Eagles Volleyball Team beat Brewer 3-2 on Senior Night at Katsiaficas Gymnasium, on Tuesday, October 15th. The set scores were 25-19, 25-27, 25-19, 17-25 and 15-8

Last night was the last regular season home game for Shanteena Griffiths, Brielle Grindle and Olivia Snow.

Individual Ellsworth Stat standouts included:

Brielle Grindle: 5 aces, 12 kills, 2 assists, 23 digs.
Shanteena Griffiths: 3 aces, 23 kills, 1 assist and 13 digs.
Olivia Snow: 3 kills and 7 digs
Mikayla Rome: 4 aces, 19 assists and 13 digs.
Olivia Harmon: 2 aces, 2 kills, 17 assists and 8 digs.
Lauren Young: 3 aces, 1 kill, 4 assists and 25 digs.

The Ellsworth JV won 3-0 and Ellsworth First Team won 2-1.

Ellsworth is 8-5 on the season, with 1 regular season game left. The Eagles will travel to MDI on Thursday, October 17th at 6 p.m.

Brewer is 4-9. They have 1 regular season game left. They will play at Hampden Academy against the Broncos on Wednesday October 16th at 6 p.m.
