Ellsworth Swimming Sweeps Foxcroft Academy Friday January 25th
The Ellsworth Swim Teams swept Foxcroft Academy on Friday, January 25th.. The Ellsworth Boys won 129-15 while the Girls won 101-32.
The Palmer Invitational Diving Meet also took place this past weekend at Husson University, attracting divers from the Penobscot Valley Conference and as far away as Portland. Ellsworth's Elena Springer participated, and finished in 3rd place, with a 11 dive score of 276.80, a new Ellsworth High School record!
Ellsworth competes this Friday, February 1st in their last home meet, and last regular season meet, at the Downeast Family YMCA against GSA. It will be Senior Recognition Night.
Following that, there are the PVC Championships on February 8th and 9th and then the State Championships with the Boys swimming on February16th and Girls swimming on February 18th. The PVC's and State's will be at the University of Maine.
