Ellsworth Swimmers Set New School Records at State Championships

6 Ellsworth High School Swimming Records fell on Monday, February 17th and Tuesday, February 18th at the State Class B Swimming and Diving Championships at Bowdoin College.

A total of 5 Girls and 1 Boys records fell

• 200 Medley Relay (Kristy Barry, Caitlin MacPherson, Caroline Mazgaj, Ellie Anderson) 1:54.51 (old team record – 1:56.69)
• 200 Free – Kristy Barry – 2:01.83 (old team record – 2:04.48)
• 100 Free – Caitlin MacPherson – :56.20 (old team record - :56.94)
• 100 Back – Kristy Barry - :59.50 (old team record - 1:01.20)
• 400 Free Relay ( Ellie Anderson, Caitlin MacPherson, Caroline Mazgaj, Kristy Barry) – 3:47.72 (0ld team record of 3:52.69)
• 100 Breaststroke – Nick Partridge - :58.51 (old team record - :59.87)

The Ellsworth Girls and Boys Swimming and Diving Teams both finished 4th in the State Class B Championships
