The Ellsworth Boy's Basketball Team was trailing by 19 points heading into the 4th Quarter 41-29 but outscored Houlton 28-9 in the 4th Quarter to tie it at the end of regulation 50-50 thanks to Bryce Harmon's floater with 1 second remaining. In Overtime Ellsworth outscored Houlton 14-9 to win 64-59. Ellsworth never led until overtime.

Houlton led 6-0 at the end of the 1st Quarter. Nick Perfitt, Jared Fox and Cameron Graham each had 2 points for Houlton.

Houlton led 22-12 at the end of the 1st Half. In the 2nd Quarter Fox had 5 points, Graham 4 points, Perfitt a 3-pointer and Jacob Worthley and Cameron Cleary each had 2 points for Houlton. For Ellsworth Bryce Harmon had 6 points,  Zach Harris had 5 points including a 3-pointer, and Dylan Taplin had 2 point.

Houlton increased their lead to 19 in the 3rd Quarter 41-22. For Houlton Graham had 10 points including a 3-pointe, Nolan Porter had a 3-pointer, Keegan Gentile had 3 points and Worthley and Cleary each had 2 points for the Shiretowners. For Ellsworth Zach Harris and Troy Folmer each had 3-pointers for 3 points and Bryce Harmon and Dylan Taplin each had 3 points.

In the 4th Quarter Harmon had 8 points, Jared Hamilton had 8 points and Dylan Taplin and Zach Harris each had 2 3-pointers a piece for 6 points each. Ellsworth was 6-9 from the free throw line in the 4th Quarter. Harris fouled out with 3:01 remaining for Ellsworth. Houlton only managed free throws in the 4th Quarter, going 9-17. Gentile was 2-7, Graham 2-4, Worthley 2-2, Perfitt 1-2 and Fox 1-2.

In Overtime Ellsworth took their 1st lead of the game. Harmon had 9 points,going 7-10 from the free throw line. Bradly Smith scored his 1st points of the game, a 3-pointe and Hamilton had 2 points. For Houlton Nick Brewer, Cameron Graham, and Keegan Gentile each had 2 points. Cameron Callnan had a 3-pointer as the buzzer sounded.

Ellsworth was led by Bryce Harmon with a game high 25 points. Zach Harris had 14 points and Jared Hamilton 10 points. The Eagles were 14-25 from the free throw line.

Houlton was led by Cameron Graham with 20 points. Jared Fox had 8 points and Keengan Gentile had 7 points. Houlton was 15-26 from the free throw line.

Ellsworth is now 6-4 and plays at Washington Academy on Thursday, January 19th at 6 PM in a game that will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA and WDEA Internet Radio.

Houlton, now 5-3 plays host to Central on Monday, January 17th at 7 PM.
