Ellsworth Softball Rolls 20-0
The Ellsworth Eagles Softball Team beat GSA on Thursday afternoon 20-0 at Ellsworth High School in the Battle of the Eagles. It was the 1st win of the season for Ellsworth.
Mackenzie Chapman and Sammy Mason combined to allow GSA just 1 hit, while striking out 6. They didn't walk anyone.
Hannah Sargent was 3-5 from the plate driving in 2 runs. Mariah Young doubled in 2 runners and Trinity Montigny's double to left center drove in a run. Leah Stevens had 3 singles, 2 walks and a RBI.
Ellsworth 1-1 plays at Old Town on Saturday, April 29th at 12 Noon.
GSA 0-3 hosts Orono on Saturday, April 29th at 2 PM.
