Ellsworth Softball Nips Old Town 2-1 in 11 Innings [PHOTOS]

The Ellsworth Eagles nipped the Old Town Coyotes 2-1 in 11 innings on Friday, April 25th in Ellsworth

Kaylee Bagley picked up the win for the Eagles, tossing an 11 inning complete game, throwing 117 pitches. She allowed 6 hits striking out 7 and walking 2.

Molly Albert started the game for Old Town and went 2.0 innings allowing 2 hits striking out 1. Haley Sirois pitched the final 8.0 innings allowing 6 hits. She struck out 9.

In the bottom of the 11th inning, with the score tied at 1-1 Jayden Sullivan drove in the winning run with no one out. Bagley was placed at 2nd to start the inning and Natalie Jagels ran for Bagley. Sullivan's fly ball to right scored Jagels for the win.

Jenna Moon had 2 hits for Ellsworth including a double. Jasmine Emerton had 2 hits. Bagley, Sullivan, Maddie Damon and Lilly Alley each singled.

For Old Town Molly Albert had 3 hits including a double.

Ellsworth is 1-1 and will travel to Brewer to play the Witches on Monday, April 29th at 4:30 p.m

Old Town is 0-1. They will host the Hermon Hawks on Monday, April 29th at 4:30 p.m.
