Ellsworth Softball Falls to Foxcroft Academy 6-2 [PHOTOS]

The Ellsworth Eagles traveled to Dover-Foxcroft on Saturday, April 28th, falling to the Ponies 6-2.

Mackenzie Chipman pitched a complete game for Ellsworth taking the loss. She allowed 6 runs, 4 of which were earned on 11 hits. She struck out 10 and didn't allow a walk.

Mackenzie Beaudry picked up the win for the Ponies, allowing 6 hits and 2 runs, both earned. She struck out 7 and walked 6.

Kayla Duhaime was 3-4 with a RBI for Ellsworth. Katie Hammer, Mariah Young and Ellie Clarke each had a single. Duhame stole 3 bases and Sara Shea and Mariah Young each swiped a bag.

For the Ponies,Beaudry had a double. Kiara Prescott was 2-4 as was Jenna Clukey. Sheryl Chase was 2-3, Cailin Seavey, Kylie Dow, McKenna Higgins and Maren O'Connell each had a single.

Ellsworth is now 2-2 and will play a doubleheader in Presque Isle on Saturday, May 5th.

Foxcroft Academy is 2-0 and plays at Dexter on Friday, May 4th at 4:30PM.
