Ellsworth Softball Beats Hermon 5-1
The Ellsworth Softball Team won their 12th game in a row, beating the Hermon Hawks in Hermon Tuesday afternoon, May 25th, 5-1.
Tyler Hellum threw a 2-hitter for Ellsworth, striking out 8 and just walking 1 for the win.

Lyndsee Reed pitched a complete game for Hermon, striking out 9 and walking 1
Lexi Leeman had a double and Faith Coombs had a single for the Hawks.
Ellsworth now 12-1 has 2 games remaining. They play at Old Town on Thursday, May 27. Old Town beat Ellsworth 3-2 in the opening game of the season for the Eagle's lone loss. They then close out the season on Tuesday, June 1st against MDI at home.
Hermon is now 4-8 with 2 games left. They play at Nokomis on Friday May 28th and close out the regular season at home against Old Town on June 1st.
