Ellsworth Softball Beats Foxcroft Academy 12-0

The Ellsworth Softball Team started the 2026 season with a 12-0 win over the Foxcroft Academy Ponies in Dover-Foxcroft on Thursday, April 23rd.

Cam Clough pitched a 5-inning mercy-rule-shortened game, holding the Ponies to just 1 hit. She struck out 9 an didn't walk a batter.

Clough helped herself at the plate going 3-4, with a pair of doubles and driving in 4 runs.

Becca Trundy had a double. Kaylee Bagley, Addison Cirard and Greenlee Harmon all singled.

Trundy, Bagley, Olivia Doyle and Jenna Moon each had a single.

Ellsworth, now 1-0 will host John Bapst on Tuesday, April 28th at 4:30.

Foxcroft Academy 0-1 will play at Belfast on Friday, April 24th at 4 p.m.
