Ellsworth Public Works to Dig on Oak Street Between Church and Park Streets – April 1st

No, this isn't an April Fool's Joke! The Ellsworth Public Works will be digging on southbound shoulder of Oak Street between Church and Park Streets to fix the area of road that has been continuously flooded on Monday, April 1st.

Work will begin at 8:30 a.m. and if you can avoid that area, that would be great. If you have to go through that area, there will be flaggers with alternating traffic. Please plan ahead and allow for potential delays.

Please be mindful of flagger's instructions and give the Ellsworth Public Works Department's workers plenty of room as they work in the road.

The work is expected to conclude by 4 p.m.
