The Ellsworth Softball Team beat the Old Town Coyotes 7-2 on Tuesday, May 5th in Ellsworth.

Cam Clough pitched a 2-hitter for the Eagles, allowing 2 runs, striking out 8 and walking 1

Clough helped herself at the plate, going 1-2 with a double and scored 3 runs.

Jovi Nightingale was 3-3, driving in 2 runs. Rebeka Trundy was 2-3 with a run batted in. Addison Engelhard was 1-3 with a pair of runs batted in. Lily Alley had a single.

Haley Sirois was in the circle for the Coyotes. The senior allowed 8 hits and 7 runs, 3 of which were earned. She struck out 10 and walked 3

Sirois had a double and drove in a run. Natalie Fournier had Old Town's other hit

Sirois, Lindsay Moockler and Fournier each stole a base for Old Town

Ellsworth is now 3-0. They will travel to Bucksport to play the Golden Bucks on Wednesday, May 6th at 4:30 p.m.

Old Town is 4-2. They will host the Foxcroft Academy Ponies on Thursday, May 7th at 4:30 p.m.
