Ellsworth JV Girls Top MDI 42-27 [STATS]

The Ellsworth JV Girls beat the MDI Trojans 42-27 on Tuesday, December 14th at Katsiaficas Gymnasium in Ellsworth.

Ellsworth led 8-6 at the end of the 1st Quarter and 18-12 at the end of the 1st Half. Ellsworth outscored MDI 8-4 in the 3rd Quarter to make the score 26-16.

Ellsworth was led by Sophia Lynch with 9 points while Aaliyah Manning had 8 points. The Eagles were 12-18 from the free throw line and 6-10 in the 4th Quarter.

MDI was led by Emma Simard with 8 points while Mallory Dunbar and Daley Foss each had 5 points. The Trojans were 5-14 from the free throw line. Sophia Thurston and Daley Foss each had a 3-pointer for MDI

The MDI JV Girls will play at home against Orono on Friday December 17th at 5:30. That game will be broadcast on the MDI High School NFHS Page (subscription required)

The Ellsworth JV Girls will play at Houllton on Saturday, December 18th at 2 p.m.
