Ellsworth High School’s Production of “A High School Musical”

The Mad Jesters present "A High School Musical" at Ellsworth High School! Performances begin on Friday, November 26th. There will be 6 shows!

Showtimes are at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 26th, Saturday, November 27th, Thursday, December 2nd, Friday December 3rd and Saturday, December 4th. There is also a special 2 p.m. Matinee Show on Sunday, November 28th.

Tickets are on sale now and are $12.00 for adults, and $10.00 for seniors and students. You can purchase tickets HERE online

This is an incredibly talented cast, (except for the individual playing Jack Scott the announcer!)

"There are over 35 students that participate in the fall musical either on the production crew or as part of the cast? Participation in extra-curricular activities is shown to improve student attendance, social emotional learning, and academic achievement. Go Jesters! (We promise we were only this close together long enough to take the picture!)"

The cast is performing masked, and if you come to a performance, which I really hope you do, you'll need to wear a mask, in keeping with the policy of wearing masks inside the Ellsworth School buildings.

Did you know…..our production of High School Musical has over 74 costume changes?!?!?! All thanks to costume designer Deb Ashmore and student designer Jordan Berry. Come see if we can pull them all off!?

Oh, and for that Jack Scott performer.. that would be me! I was shocked and honored when I was asked to be the announcer in the performance! Let's be honest, it has been 43 years since I graduated high school. My theater performance in high school consisted of dating the lead actress in "Fiddler on the Roof" and running a spotlight.

I'll be in all the performances with the exception of Saturday, December 4th, when I have previous longstanding commitments. I promise not to sing out loud, but I LOVE High School Musical and I promise you, that you will love this cast and The Mad Jester's performances!
