Ellsworth High School Inducts 28 Into National Honor Society Monday
Ellsworth High School inducted 28 into the National Honors Society on Monday, April 30th.
National Honor Society President gave welcoming remarks and spoke of service during the lighting of the candles. Mariah Young NHS Vice-President spoke of scholarship. NHS Secretary spoke of leadership and Emily Hart, NHS Community Service Leader spoke of character.
Principal Dan Clifford presented the new members. After the new inductees recited the NHS pledge, Representative Louis Luchini, Member of the Maine State House of Representatives and EHS Cross Country Coach spike to those assembled.
Inducted on Monday night were Chantel Ouellette, Christa Ouellette, Molly McCarthy, Britney Andrews, Kiona Osterlin, Atticus Deeny, Kaitlyn Worster, Emma McKechnie, Mark Berry, Olivia Dyer, Javon Williams, Conner Wagstaff, Malcolm Svec, Audrey Goodwin-Whitmore, Kaitlin McCullough, Beckett Markosian, Carter Frank, Devin Grindle, Elie Clarke, Emma Henry, Grace High, Sidney Hamilton, Katie Hammer, Miriam Nelson, Sam Pelletier, Deanna Pinkham, Maria Wagenknecht and Mackenzie Chipman.
They joined the 19 current members, Hailey McCabe, Hannah Sargent, Delaney Dow, Sally Wight, Sam Horne, Andrew McCullough, Bradly Smith, Emily Hart, Mariah Young, McKenna Knight, Linsay Bland, Fiona Tucker, Dyaln Taplin, Richie Mattews, Chelsea Lounder, Belle Albert, Katelyn Bagley, Austin Baron and Syndey Hagarman.
