Ellsworth High School Hires 3 New Coaches

Ellsworth High School Athletic Josh Frost announced the hiring of 3 new coaches at the High School for the Varsity Boy's Soccer Team, Girl's and Boy's Cross Country Teams and Wrestling Team.

Mark Ensworth is the new Boy's High School Soccer Coach. He has coached the George Stevens Academy Varsity Boy's Soccer Team for 8 years. While at GSA the Eagles made it to 3 Northern Maine Class C Finals and was named Class C PVC Coach of the Year.

Mark currently is a Physical Education teacher at Ellsworth High School.

Jamie Anderson has been named the Head Coach for the Girl's and Boy's Cross Country Teams, replacing Louie Lucchini. Jamie has been the Cross Country Assistant Coach for the last 4 years.  Jamie helped coach the Girl's Cross Country Team to the 2018 Class B State Championship. 

Jamie currently teaches the Multimedia Program at Hancock County Technical Center.

Sam Hughes has been named the Wrestling Coach. He has been an Assistant Coach for the wrestling team for the last 5 years.  He has helped numerous wrestlers earn all conference titles with some making it to the state championship meet.  Sam is also an Assistant Coach for the Ellsworth High School Football Team.
