Ellsworth High School Class of 2024 – Valedictorian and Salutatorian

The Ellsworth High School Class of 2024 will graduate on Friday June 7th at 6pm. Ellsworth High School released information about the Valedictorian and Salutatorian.

Congratulations to the Class of 2024!

Valedictorian

Caramon Controneo is the Valedictorian for the Class of 2024. Caramon earned a grade point average of 102.40. He took seventeen Advanced Placement, Concurrent Enrollment or Early College classes.

Activities include National Honor Society, Green Team and Math Team. Awards Caramon has received are EHS Student of the Month, STEM Student of the Month, Xerox Award, English Academic Excellence Award, Spanish Academic Excellence Award, Chemistry Academic Excellence Award, Physical Science Academic Excellence Award, Biology Academic Excellence Award, AP World History Academic Excellence Award, Math Academic Excellence Award and MPA Principals’ Award. Caramon also holds a nearly full time job at Walmart where he has worked for three years.

He will attend the University of Maine in the fall and will double major in Computer Science and New Media.

Salutatorian

Casey McDonald is the Salutatorian for the Class of 2024. Casey earned a grade point average of 100.83. He earned over thirty college credits during his time at EHS. Activities include Senior Class Officer, National Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, Math Team, Wrestling and Football captain, Eagle Scout, and Youth Sports Volunteer. Casey has also been the Eagle mascot at pep rallies and games.

Casey is graduating with a Honors Diploma and STEM Diploma. This summer you will catch Casey working at Blueberry Hill. Casey will attend the Naval Academy next year
