Ellsworth High School announced today, September 27th their newest Academic Hall-of-Fame inductees. Induction will take place the weekend of Friday October 6th and Saturday, October 7th.

On  Friday October 6th the recipients will be introduced at halftime of the football game.

There will be an induction ceremony on Saturday October 7th at 11:00  a.m. in the Ellsworth High School Cafe. The induction ceremony is not a ticketed event, if you would like to attend please call Ellsworth High School (667-4722) before October 6th to reserve your spot.

Here is the Class of 2023:

  • Jason Anderson - Education, graduated in 1999 and attended the University of Maine and the University of Southern New Hampshire
  • Thelma Beal - Business/Community Member, graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1967.
  • Anthony Britt - Project Officer, graduated from Ellsworth High School in 2006 and attended Harvard University and Tufts Graduate School.
  • Kelsey Crowley - Business Owner, graduated from Ellsworth High School in 2008 and attended the University of Vermont and the Hallmark Institute of Photography.
  • Morgaen Donaldson - College Professor, graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1990 and attended Princeton University and Harvard Graduate School.
  • Philip Frey - Landscape Artist, graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1986 and attended Syracuse University and Columbus College of Art and Design.
  • Maureen Giunta - English Teacher, taught at Ellsworth High School from 1975-2007.
  • Bruce Lindberg - Teacher/Administrator, worked at Ellsworth High School from 1979-1989 and then again during the 2014-2015 school year.
  • Rebekah Metzler - Journalist, graduated from Ellsworth High School in 2000 and attended Bowdoin and Boston University.
