The Ellsworth Girls Soccer team continued their winning ways, defeating the John Bapst Crusaders 5-2 at the Union Street Complex in Bangor on Friday afternoon, September 17th.

Ellsworth scored 1st, when Addi Laslie found the back of the net with 7:15 elapse to make it 1-0

The Crusaders tied the score 2:19 later to make the score 1-1.

But Ellsworth went ahead 2-1 when Laslie scored her 2nd goal with 25:50 remaining in the 1st Half.

It was 3-1 when Paige Sawyer scored off of Laslie's corner kick with 17:52 left in the Half.

But the Crusaders scored again, to make it 3-2 at the Half.

In the 2nd Half, Lily Bean added an insurance goal for Ellsworth with 21:28 remaining, with the assist going to Addi Laslie.

Finally Laslie scored her 3rd goal, for her 4th hat trick in as many games. Her goal came with 19:02 remaining

Ellsworth is now 4-0 and will play at home against GSA on Tuesday, September 21st  at 6 p.m.

John Bapst is 0-2 and are scheduled to play at home against Old Town on Monday, September 20th.
