Ellsworth Girls Stay Unbeaten Beating Houlton 62-29 [STATS]

The Ellsworth Girl's Basketball Team remained unbeaten, beating the Houlton Shiretowners 62-29 in Houlton on Friday, January 12th.

Ellsworth led 23-11 after the end of the 1st Quarter. Holding Houlton scoreless in the 2nd, Ellsworth increased their lead to 39-11 at the end of the 1st Half. The Eagles led 53-20 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Ellsworth was led by Grace Jaffray with 18 points. Abby Radel had 12 points and Elizabeth Boles had 11 points. The Eagles sank 3 3-pointers, with 1 each by Radel, Boles and Jaffray. The Eagles were 7-11 from the free throw line.

Houlton was led by Amelia Callnan with 11 points, including a 3-pointer. Lily Brewer had 6 points. The Shiretowners were 8-13 from the free throw line.
