The Ellsworth Girls Soccer Team lost for the 1st time this season, as the Hermon Hawks beat them Thursday night, September 23rd at Del Luce Stadium 5-1.

Ellsworth took a quick 1-0 lead, when Addi Laslie scored with just 2:04 elaspsed, with an assist from Alex Bivins.

Hermon knotted the score at 1-1 40 seconds later, when Lyndsee Reed found the back of the net.

Sydney Gallop then scored twice, with 23:11 remaining and again with 19:55 left to make it 3-1 Hawks.

Hermon would add a 4th goal, when Lyndsee Reed headed a bouncing ball into the back of the net.

At the end of the 1st Half the Hawks led the Eagles 4-1.

Sydney Gallop scored her hat trick with 11:48 remaining in the game.

Ellsworth is now 5-1 and is scheduled to play host to Presque Isle Saturday afternoon September 25th weather permitting

Hermon is now 3-0 and will play at Foxcroft Academy on Monday, September 27th
