Ellsworth Girls Soccer Downs Presque Isle 3-1 [PHOTOS]

The Ellsworth Girls Soccer Team defeated the Presque Isle Wildcats 3-1 at Del Luce Stadium in Ellsworth, Friday afternoon, October 15th.

Ellsworth got on the scoreboard 1st, with Addi Laslie finding the back of the net, assisted by Paige Sawyer with 15:32 remaining in the 1st Half.

But, the Wildcats equalized scoring a goal just 25 seconds later, to make the score 1-1.

That's the way the 1st Half ended, knotted at 1-1.

Ellsworth quickly took the lead in the 2nd Half, when Laslie scored her 2nd goal of the game with 2:35 gone.

The Eagles added an insurance goal, when Emily Haggerman scored from Jordan Berry in the final minutes.

Ellsworth is now 10-3 and closes the regular season at MDI on Tuesday, October 19th at 6 p.m.

Presque Isle is 3-9 and closes out the regular season on Saturday, October 16th against Hermon.
