Ellsworth Girls Soccer Beats Washington Academy 7-1

The Ellsworth Girls Soccer Team matched their 2017 win total in just their 5th game of the 2018 season, defeating Washington Academy 7-1 at Del Luce Stadium in Ellsworth on Thursday, September 13th.

Ellsworth led 4-0 at the end of the 1st Half as Sierra Andrews scored twice, and Addi Laslie found the back of the net twice. Kiana Maddocks-Wilbur had 2 assists.

In the 2nd Half, Andrews and Laslie each scored unassisted to give each Eagle a hat trick. Hannah Richardson finished out Ellsworth's scoring with 17:21 remaining in the game.

Washington Academy scored with 8:37 remaining as Yunce Wakur scored.

Ellsworth is now 3-2 and will play in Bar Harbor on Tuesday, September 18th at 6PM against MDI.

Washington Academy is now 1-2 and plays host to MDI on Thursday, September 20th at 4PM.
