Ellsworth Girls Shut-Out MDI 6-0 Wednesday October 14

The Ellsworth Girls Soccer Team shut-out MDI 6-0 at Alumni Field in Bar Harbor, on Wednesday, October 14th in a game broadcast onAM 1370 WDEA, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device.

Sierra Andrews scored the 1st of her 4 goals with just 24 seconds elapsed.

Andrews scored her 2nd goal heading the ball hard off the ground on a corner kick with 21:49 left in the 1st Half.

Morgan Clifford then scored with 17:19 left, on a corner kick.

Ellsworth led 3-0 at the end of the 1st Half, outshooting MDI 8-6.

In the 2nd half, Sierra Andrews scored with 1:03 elapsed to make it 4-0, for her hat trick

Addi Laslie then scored off of a penalty kick about 35 yards out from the goal, on a shot that looked like it was going to go over the crossbar but then knuckled down and hit the crossbar and went in goal. That goal was scored with 30:18 remaining

Finally she scored her 4th goal with 5:44 remaining.

Ellsworth is back in action on Thursday, October 15th when they host Brewer at 4 p.m. at Del Luce Stadium
