Ellsworth Girls Fall to Old Town 50-30

The Ellsworth Girls Basketball Team fell to Old Town 50-30 at Mackenzie Gymnasium in Old Town on Wednesday, December 12th. Ellsworth is now 1-1 on the season.

Old Town jumped out to a 15-8 at the end of the 1st Quarter and never looked back. It was 31-16 at the end of the 1st Half and 44-22 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Ellsworth was led by Trintity Montigny. who had 15 points. Ellsworth was 6-10 from the free throw line. Ella Hubbard and Samantha Carter each had a 3-pointer for the Eagles.

Old Town was led by Hannah Richards with a game high 17 points. The Coyotes were 12-18 from the free throw line. Richards had 2 3's, and Sydney Loring and Madelyn Emerson each had a 3-pointer.

Ellsworth, 1-1 plays host to GSA on Saturday, December 15th at 12:30 in a game that will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device
