Ellsworth Girls Fall to Old Town 49-38

The Ellsworth Girls lost for just the 3rd time this season, losing to the Old Town Coyotes 49-38 Monday night, January 14th at Katsiaficas Gymnasium in Ellsworth. Ellsworth lost for the 2nd time this season to Old Town.

Old Town jumped out to a 12-5 lead at the end of the 1st Quarter, and led 21-12 at the end of the 1st Half. It was 36-25 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Ellsworth was led by Trinity Montigny with 22 points while Kylie Robidoux had 7 points. Ellsworth had 4 3's, 2 by Samantha Carter, and 1 each by Montigny and Sierra Andrews. The Eagles were 10-19 from the free throw line.

Old Town was led by Hannah Richards with a game high 23 points. Madelyn Emerson and Claudia Damboise each had 7 points. Old Town had 6 3's, with 5 by Richards and 1 by Emerson. The Coyotes were 7-15 from the free throw line.

Ellsworth, now 9-3 will play host to John Bapst on Thursday, January 17th in a game that will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device

Old Town, 9-3 plays host to Foxcroft Academy on Wednesday, January 16th at 7PM.
