Ellsworth Girls Defeat Presque Isle 4-0

The Ellsworth Girl's Soccer Team opened the 2024 season with a 4-0 shutout over the Presque Isle Wildcats at Del Luce Stadium in Ellsworth on Friday, September 6th.

Miah Coffin put the Eagles ahead with an unassisted goal in the 1st Half.

Ellsworth led 1-0 at the end of the 1st Half.

In the 2nd Half, Lizzie Boles scored, at the 12:33 mark, assisted by Miah Coffin.

The Eagles made it 3-0 when Camryn Clough scored off of a direct kick at the 8:17 mark.

The final goal was scored by Boles, her 2nd of the game, assisted by Whitney Jordan.at the 5:12 mark.

Allie Bivins was in goal for the Eagles and she had 6 saves.

Ellsworth is now 1-0 and will play at Hermon on Wednesday, September 11th at 6 p.m.

Presque Ilse, 0-1 will play at Fort Kent on Tuesday, September 10th at 7 p.m.
