Ellsworth Girls Beat Washington Academy 54-34 [STATS]

The Ellsworth Girls Basketball Team beat Washington Academy 54-34 on Thursday, January 30th at Katsiaficas Gymnasium in Ellsworth.

The Eagles led 8-5 at the end of the 1st Quarter and 22-12 at the end of the 1st Half. The Eagles were up 40-28 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Ellsworth was led by Kaylee Bagley who finished with 14 points, including a 3-pointer. Addison Atherton had 13 points with a 3-pointer and Lily Bean had 12 points, including 2 3-pointers. Violette Ray also had a 3-pointer. Ellsworth was a perfect 5-5 from the free throw line.

Washington Academy was led by Abigail Maker with a game-high 17 points, including 3 3-pointers. Grace Howard, Avery Kates and Meadow Rohde each had a 3-pointer. The Raiders were 4-8 from the free throw line.

Ellsworth is 11-6 with 1 game remaining in the regular season. They will host MDI on Tuesday, February 4th at 7 p.m. on Senior Recognition Night.
