The defending Class B and Class D  Girl's State Champions, Ellsworth and Southern Aroostook met in an exhibition game at Katsiaficas Gymnasium in Ellsworth on Saturday, November 25th. Ellsworth beat Southern Aroostook 77-60.

Both teams had played Camden Hills earlier in the day.

Ellsworth led 16-11 at the end of the 1st Quarter and 36-30 at the end of the 1st Half. The Eagles led 59-53 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Ellsworth was led by Grace Jaffray with a game-high 24 points. Addison Atherton had 12 points and Abby Radel finished with 11 points. The Eagles drained 7 3-pointers in the game. Jaffray had 2 3's, and Radel, Elise Sargent, Kaylee Bagley, Elizabeth Boles and Sydney Mason each had 1 3-pointer. Ellsworth was 10-14 from the free throw line.

Southern Aroostook was led by Cami Shields with 16 points. Emmalee Landry finished with 14 point and Madison Shields had 12 points. Southern Aroostook had 4 3-pointers in the game. Cami Shields had 4 3's, with Emmalee Landry had 1 3-pointer. Southern Aroostook was 12-27 from the free throw line.
