Ellsworth Girls Beat Caribou 70-50 on Senior Recognition Day [STATS]

The Ellsworth Girl's Basketball Team beat Caribou 70-50 on Senior Recognition Day at Katsiaficas Gymnasium. It was the final regular season home game for seniors Meg Jordan and Aaliyah Manning.

With Grace Jaffray held to just 7 points in the game, the Eagles turned to their 3-point specialists who poured in 14 3-pointers in the game. Elizabeth Boles had 6 3-pointers. Elise Sargent had 3 3-pointers. Sydney Mason and Lily Bean had 2 3's and Grace Jaffray had 1 3-pointer.

Caribou led 11-8 at the end of the 1st Quarter, but Ellsworth led 25-20 at the end of the 1st Half and 47-34 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Ellsworth was paced by Elizabeth Boles with 21 points. Elise Sargent had 12 points and Lily Bean had 11 points. The Eagles were 6-12 from the free throw line.

Caribou was led by Madelynn Deprey with 18 points while Liv Adams had 13 points. Amelia Godin had 3 3-pointers and Madelynn Deprey had 1 3-pointer. Caribou was 6-12 from the free throw line.

Caribou is now 11-4. They play at Fort Kent on Wednesday, January 31st at 7 p.m.
