Ellsworth Girls Beat Belfast 60-28 [STATS]

The Ellsworth Girl's Basketball Team raced out to a 13-0 lead and never looked back on Saturday, December 13th, beating Belfast 60-28.

Ellsworth led 22-2 at the end of the 1st Quarter, 36-6 at the Half and 47-19 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Ellsworth was paced by Elizabeth Boles who finished with a game-high 24 points including 3 3-pointers. Kaylee Bagley had 14 points with 2-3 pointers. Sydney Mason had 2 3's. The Eagles scored 22 points in the paint and were 8-12 from the free throw line.

Belfast was led by Julianna Sprague with 7 points, including a 3-pointer. Belfast had 4 points in the paint and were 7-16 from the free throw line.

Ellsworth is now 3-0. They will host the John Bapst Crusaders on Tuesday, December 16th with the game tipping off at 7 p.m. That game will be broadcast on WDEA AM 1370, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our FREE downloadable APP and any Alexa enabled device with the pregame starting at 6:45 p.m.

Belfast is 0-4. They will play at Mt. View on Tuesday, December 16th at 6:30 p.m.
