Ellsworth Girls Beat Caribou 56-45 [STATS]

The Ellsworth Girls Basketball Team took the long drive up I-95 to Aroostook County, coming home with a 56-45 win over the Caribou Vikings.

Ellsworth led 15-10 at the end of the 1st Quarter as Elizabeth Boles scored 7 points and Kaylee Bagley had 5 points for Ellsworth while Carly Levesque had 5 points.

Ellsworth led 29-23 at the Half, as Cam Clough had 5 points for Ellsworth and Levesque had 5 points for the Vikings.

Caribou cut the lead to 2 points at the end of the 3rd Quarter 38-36, as Lilly Bell had 6 points and Peyton West had 4 points for the Vikings.

In the 4th Quarter Kaylee Bagley had 11 points and Elizabeth Boles had 5 points for the Eagles.

Ellsworth was led by Kaylee Bagley with 21 points including 4 3-pointers. Elizabeth Boles had 15 points with a 3-pointer. Cam Clough had 8 points with 2 3-pointers. The Eagles were 9-19 from the free throw line.

Caribou was led by Lily Bell with 12 points and a 3-pointer. Carly Levesque had 10 points with a 3-pointer. The Vikings were 9-17 from the free throw line.

Ellsworth is now 11-6 and in 3rd place in the Class B North Girls Heal Point Standings They will host MDI in their final regular season game on Tuesday, February 3rd at 7 p.m. That game will be broadcast on WDEA AM 1370, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our FREE downloadable APP and any Alexa enabled device with the pregame starting at 6:40 p.m.

Caribou is now 9-8 and in 5th place in the Class C North Girls Heal Point Standings. They will host Presque Isle on Tuesday, February 3rd in their final regular season game.
