The Ellsworth Girls and  Boys Soccer Teams traveled to Dover-Foxcroft on Saturday, October 9th, to play the Foxcroft Academy Ponies, with both teams returning home with victories. The Girls won 3-0 while the Boys won 2-1.

In the Girls game Abby Bland scored the Eagle's 1st goal, assisted by Addi Laslie with 24:15 left in the 1st Half.

It was 2-0 when Laslie scored with 14:05 remaining in the 1st Half, assisted by Meaghan Jordan.

The Eagles led 2-0 at the end of the 1st Half.

Ellsworth added an insurance goal with 16:13 remaining, when Paige Sawyer found the back of the net, with Emily King notching the assist.

Ellsworth is now 8-3, and in 4th place in the Class B North Heal Points. They will play at Del Luce Stadium against John Bapst on Thursday, October 14th.

Foxcroft Academy is now 2-8. They are scheduled to play at Presque Isle on Monday, October 11th.

In the Boy's Game Ellsworth led 1-0 at the end of the 1st Half after Cruz Coffin scored, with the assist from Luke Perry.

Ellsworth made it 2-0 with 10:51 remaining in the 2nd Half, when Kai Barrett scored, with Perry notching his 2nd assist.

Foxcroft Academy clawed 1 goal back, converting a penalty kick with 8:03 left.

Ellsworth is 7-3-1 and will host Old Town on Tuesday, October 12th.

Foxcroft Academy is 5-2-2 and travels to Presque Isle on Monday, October 11th
