Ellsworth Girls and Boys Playoffs Wednesday, February 22 [UPDATE]

On Wednesday, February 22th the Ellsworth Girls and Boys Basketball Teams will be playing in the Class B North Semifinals at the Cross Insurance Center. The Girls play at 9 a.m.  with the Boys playing at 1:30 p.m.

The Girls will take on Caribou. Ellsworth is the #3 seed, while Caribou is the #2 seed. Both teams are 16-3.

2 of Ellsworth's losses came at the hands of the Vikings. They lost to Caribou at home, 59-56 on December 30th and 55-52 in Caribou on January 28th. Their other loss came to #1 OId Town.

Caribou's 3 losses have all come at home. They lost to Old Town in the 1st game of the season 64-42 then lost to Presque Isle 59-56 on December 30th and then to MDI 55-52 on January 28th.

At 1:30 p.m. the #1 seeded and undefeated Ellsworth Boys, with a 19-0 record, will take on #4 Old Town with a 17-2 record.

Old Town's 2 losses have come at the hands of Ellsworth and Orono, both at home. Ellsworth won 60-58 on December 27th and Orono won 62-52 on December 30th.
