Ellsworth Girl Soccer Shutsout GSA 5-0 on Senior Night

The Ellsworth Girls Soccer Team continued their winning ways, defeating the George Stevens Academy Eagles 5-0 on Tuesday night, September 21st at Del Luce Stadium on Senior Recognition Night.

Ellsworth took a 1-0 with 27:28 left in the 1st Half when Senior Abby Bland scored, with the assist from Senior Addi Laslie

It was 2-0 4:07 later, when Senior Tori Watkins scored, assisted by Alex Bivins.

At the end of the 1st Half, it was 2-0 Ellsworth.

With 32:02 remaining in the 2nd Half, Addi Lasli scored to make it 3-0

It was 4-0 when Laslie chipped in a corner kick and Senior Paige Sawyer headed the ball into the back of the net with 30:33 remaining in the game

The final goal was scored by Sawyer, her 2nd of the game, with 19:51 left.

Ellsworth is 5-0 and will host Hermon on Thursday, September 23rd at 6 p.m.

GSA is 1-5 and hosts Mount View on Thursday, September 23rd
