Ellsworth Eagles Volleyball Team Sweeps Lake Region Lakers

The Ellsworth Eagles Volleyball Team swept the Lake Region Lakers 3-0 on Saturday, September 13th at Katsiaficas Gymnasium in Ellsworth. The individual set scores were 25-15, 25-11 and 25-20.

Individual Ellsworth standouts were:

Caitlin Jenkins: 4 aces and 6 kills
Sophie Harmon: 6 aces, 8 assists, 2 digs
Sophie Beal: 6 aces, 4 kills, 1 block, 1 assist, 5 digs
Lauren Young: 3 aces, 6 kills, 8 digs
Jordin Mann: 3 aces, 1 kill, 6 assists, 1 dig

Ellsworth is now 3-2 on the season. The Eagles will travel to Hampden Academy to play the Broncos on Tuesday, September 16th.

Lake Region is 0-3. They will host Gray-New Gloucester on Thursday, September 18th at 6 p.m.

The Ellsworth JV team also won, 3-0 with individual set scores 25-9, 21-25, 25-14. undefeated so far with a five game win streak. The JV Team is undefeated with a record of 5-0.
