How The Ellsworth Eagles Secured Their Semifinal Spot In Volleyball

The #3 Ellsworth Eagles Volleyball Team defeated #6 Medomak Valley 3-2 in a Class C Quarterfinal on Saturday, October 25th. The individual set scores were 25-15, 22-25, 20-25, 25-12, 17-15.

Individual Ellsworth standouts were::

Sophia Harmon: three aces, one kill, 10 assists, six digs
Austyn Atherton: 10 Kills, one block, one assist, 21 digs.
Sophie Beal: two aces, eight kills, two blocks, one assist, 13 digs
Jordin Mann: four aces, 18 assists, five digs
Lauren Young: one ace, 10 kills, one assist, 20 digs
Caitlin Jenkins: four aces, seven kills, two blocks, seven digs

Ellsworth advances to the semifinals when they will play #2 MDI on Wednesday October 29th at 5p.m. at Bernard Parady Gymnasium.
