Ellsworth Eagles Volleyball Triumphs Over Hampden Academy

The Ellsworth Eagle's Volleyball Team beat Hampden Academy 3-1 on Tuesday, October 14th at Katsiaficas Gymnasium at Ellsworth High School. The individual set scores were 25-20, 25-18, 17-25, 25-22.

Individual Ellsworth Stat Standouts included:

Austyn Atherton: 2 aces, 10 kills, 1 block, 1 assist, 17 digs
Sophie Beal: 4 aces, 8 kills, 4 blocks, 3 assists, 18 digs
Lauren Young: 3 aces, 12 kills, 1 assist, 10 digs
Caitlin Jenkins: 5 kills, 3 blocks, 1 assist, 4 digs
Sophia Harmon: 2 aces, 1 kill, 13 assists, 10 digs
Jordin Mann: 16 assists, 12 digs

Hampden Academy is 6-7. They will play their final regular season game at home on Thursday, October 16th when they host Brewer at 6 p.m.

Ellsworth is 7-6. They will play their final regular season game at home on Friday, October 17th against MDI on Senior Recognition Night.

The Ellsworth JV Squad continued their winning ways, beating Hampden Academy 3-0 with the individual set scores 25-17, 25-15, 15-11.
