Ellsworth Eagles Vs. MDI Trojans: A Crucial Basketball Showdown

Tuesday night, is the final game of the regular season for the Ellsworth Eagles and MDI Trojans Girl's Basketball Teams, and Katsiaficas Gymnasium at Ellsworth High School should be near-capacity as the Eagles host the Trojans. The game tips off at 7 p.m.

There is so much on the line as Ellsworth is currently in 3rd place with a record of 11-6, while MDI is in 7th place with a record of 11-6. There are just 14.753 Heal Points between 3rd and 7th place.

Gardiner and Ellsworth are battling out for 1st and 2nd place in Class B. A win by Ellsworth would solidify their 3rd place spot. Should Ellsworth lose, they could conceivably drop to 5th place after Thursday night's last game, and all the points are tabulated.

A win by MDI would move them up as high as 6th, while a loss could see them dropping to 8th place, after Thursday night's last game, and all the points are tabulated, where they would have to play a prelim game with Cony.
